The Landmark London hotel awarded prestigious award by Investors in People

Over the last three years we have worked closely with The Landmark London Hotel, carrying out our FF&E and OS&E services when they host an annual toy fair. Following an intensive three-year journey, and previous Gold Level accreditation, we are delighted to say that they are now the first and only hotel in the world to be awarded a platinum level certification by Investors in People.

Less than 1% of all participating international organisations that follow the Investors in People structure achieve Platinum Status. This award recognises organisations for their commitment to high performance, through strong people management and development, and the hotel was awarded platinum level by achieving the highest score in the accommodation business sector globally.

Securing this position as not only one of the world’s leading 5-star hotels, but now the only hotel globally to achieve this award, recognises Landmark for their complete commitment to their teams and staff. According to The Landmark Hotel Company, the hotel was applauded for “providing effective people management and development”, which helped them to achieve “the highest levels of engagement across all departments which delivered the highest levels of performance”.

A remarkable 92% of the devoted 350 Landmark London employees contributed to the assessment. The general manager at The Landmark London, Andrew Batchelor, said: “We are thrilled to have been accredited the achievement of a Platinum Level by Investors in People, and it is an honour to be the only hotel globally to receive this measure of success, an achievement which is entirely down to our wonderful team members”.

He further added: “Their hard work, trust in leadership and genuine love of what they do has enabled The Landmark London to be such a success as a business, but also as a family. I am extremely proud of every member of my team.”
